What is a session in Classspace? A session is an organizational unit within a batch, each one focused on a specific topic. For example, a session for Electromagnetic theory created by a physics teacher. The two types of sessions in Classspace are
- Live session
- Scheduled session
Now let’s see how we can create a session in Classspace. Press the sessions tab at the bottom of the screen. When you are inside the sessions screen, press the yellow plus button at the bottom right of the screen and a session create form is revealed. You can choose to either create a live or scheduled session. For a live session, entering the name and pressing submit will take you to the live video session instantly. If you want to schedule a session for a later date, first select the “later” option and fill in the name, duration of the session and pick the time to be scheduled and press submit. That’s how you create a scheduled session.
Steps to create a session
- Go to the sessions tab.
- Press the large yellow plus button to open the session create form.
- Select either a live session or scheduled session using the NOW | LATER options.
